Nendaz: your gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area

Winter adventures in the canton of Valais

Nendaz is one of the six ski resorts in the 4 Vallées ski area, the largest winter sports area in the Swiss Alps. Your winter sports journey begins at the Tracouet valley station in Nendaz. The cable car takes you up to an altitude of 2,200 metres. From there, you’ll continue on to the Prarion lift and Plan-du-Fou.

Just below the Prarion-Plan-du-Fou mountain station, you will find one of the eight designated freeride lines of the ski area. Start your powder-snow day right away!

By the way: Do you still need the right equipment for your off-piste adventures? Our RENTertainers at the INTERSPORT Rent shops in Nendaz will be happy to advise you. The right skis, a well-fitting ski helmet and a back protector … and then the freeriding fun can begin!

INTERSPORT Rent Tip

Our RENTertainers recommend

Sledging in Tortin: On the sledging run in Tortin, you can spend a snow-tastic afternoon with your family or friends. But be warned: The three-kilometre run packs quite a punch. A descent on it takes a total of 20 minutes and, thanks to the adjacent lift, you can head right back up to the starting point.

Good to know: You can rent your sledge at one of our INTERSPORT Rent shops in Nendaz. Simply reserve it, pick it up, and have fun!
