Skiing in Finland: The skiing paradise of the north

Snow-covered treetops, endless landscapes, the legendary Northern Lights - winter in Finland could hardly be more picturesque. In short, skiing in this winter wonderland is an experience in itself. How could it be any different in the official homeland of Santa Claus?

Finland's northern location ensures plenty of snow, and the winter season begins in November and lasts until around May. In southern and central Finland, you can expect the season to last from early December to late March or April.

At first glance, Finland does not seem to be predestined for skiing. It is largely flat and is considered a "country without mountains". However, this does not detract from the fun on the slopes. About 75 resorts boast wide runs that are ideal for beginners and recreational skiers. But even more demanding skiers will find something to suit them on some of the race slopes.

Ready for your Finnish skiing adventure? The RENTertainers are also on hand for you in the Scandinavian winter wonderland, providing you with the best rental equipment.
